My son has his first new tooth coming and it was coming inwards. I just went to get that checked. Staff was polite, but clinic is ethically very poor. I clearly mentioned that I will pay as I don't have insurance. Doctors advise you cost before performing any work. So, the appointment was for about 20 mins in total, which includes about 3 mins max with doctor. I was asked to pay 265$ for following, exam 75, x-ray 90, prophylaxis 62, and fluoride 38. I advised the staff before the appointment that I don't have any insurance, and asked for possible discounts. Now when I asked them why you did Prop and Fluoride I learnt they sold me another service of hygienist for NO reason and just to make money. I easily could have denied the payment for those services, but that would have brought me to there level. But it becomes my responsibility to make people aware. If you have insurance please go there as few of the doctors are just making money from insurances. But if you are not carrying insurance or even carrying insurance go to good ETHICAL doctors. I believe at certain level it is not about money but ethics. And that is exactly where this clinic fails. Dr. Deitz is absolutely amazing. He takes great care of all three of my children. One of them had to have oral surgery and he and the staff at Children's Center for Dentistry were amazing and supportive. I recommend Dr. Deitz to all of my friends!
Great doctor & great staff, no long waits. They were even with my special needs son!
What a wonderful Doctor! The staff is so kind and great with kids. The office is completely child dedicated so they have movies playing above the seats and I can't say enough good things about this place.
My 4 year old son went in for a cleaning and had 4 cavities. They said it would be best done under general anesthesia and was told the procedure would cost right at $900 with our insurance. After the procedure he said he filled 11 cavities and put one cap on. He then billed us for an additional $1800 and this doesn't include the thousands of dollars in bills we are receiving from the surgical center. I am sorry to say as Dr. Dietz may be good with children I have found our experience to be completely unethical. All of the fees and cost should have been disclosed before the procedure. Our son never complained of his teeth hurting or bothering him. Would not recommend based on the ethics of this practice.
