I opted for the Texas Ranch burger - bacon ranch sauce on the side, onions (grilled and raw) and lettuce wrap. I also picked up a regular size Cajun Fry and took some Cookie Dough home for dessert. The burger comes with two thin patties. And the lettuce wrap isn't so much a wrap - instead, it lines the basket and the burger just sits on top of it. (This isn't a complaint so much as a heads up.) The best part about this burger was definitely the Bacon Ranch sauce! The name really explains it all - it tasted like ranch dressing with bacon. The fries were just as awesome! The Cajun seasoning added a nice kick and peppery-ness and the texture of the fries were somewhat soft with the smaller bits nice and crispy. Also, the "regular" size is HUGE! Even with our big appetites, it easily satisfied us both. If I were only ordering for myself, I would probably get the kids size in the future.
Friendly, fast service at the lunch hour and multiple people checking on you to see if you need anything throughout your meal. Couldn't believe how friendly and helpful everyone was! Plus the food was delicious and came out very soon after ordering.
Meatheads is good place to eat as their burgers always prepared to order and are great. The staff is always polite, helpful, and friendly, which makes for a great atmosphere. This is probably the best burger joint in Bloomington/Normal.
Build your own burger or pick from some chef selections. Since it was my first time, I used another reviewer's recommendation and tried the Texas Ranch. Also paid attention to size of fries, and split a regular order of Cajun fries with my wife. She had a patty melt, and it being very good. All in all, a pleasant experience. Food was tasty, ordering process easy and friendly, and polite management all around.
This place rocks. Great burgers fries n salad. Mr is cool, gets involved doesn't just watch actually does everything! Will be back. Nice and clean.
I had a great time visiting Meatheads for the first time today. My husband and I are in town for a conference and needed a bite to eat before checking into the hotel. We're both big burger fans, so this seemed to be the perfect place!
