I didn't mention anything to the server at the time because we were taking my mother in law out to dinner.
We stopped by at a slow time and were asked if we would be willing to sit in the bar. We could see there was plenty of seating elsewhere so asked for a booth. The hostess literally rolled her eyes and begrudgingly led us to a booth. My wife took our child to the bathroom and when she returned we sat for an additional 10 minutes without service. Not even a check in for drinks. As we looked around we realized that others who were seated after us were being waited on. That's when deja vu set in. We had the same thing happen the last time we came here. That time we sat in the bar area so wrote it off because it was busy. Not the case today sitting in a half empty restaurant. We decided to walk out and headed across the street to Red Rodin. We will never return to this Chili's location.
Besides the discrepancy in the quantity of food, the quality was pretty poor too. The steak was extremely chewy and gristly.
I got the sirloin steak with shrimp mashed potatoes and broccoli the broccoli wasn't very good it was like barely cooked the mashed potatoes came out very cold and then I ordered 6 extra shrimp and only got 4 of them but the waiter made it right and got me new mashed potatoes got the shrimp I was missing and then sent us home with some chips and salsa so after all of that the food was okay........ they were very busy but the wait when we first got there wasn't as long as you'd expect
Service was good. I ordered the three meat fajita plate that showed a picture of a meal that would easily serve my wife and I. I received the plate and it included about a third of the food that the image (and price) indicated there would be.
Food was ok. Ribs were no big deal. Waitress was nice
Needless to say, I wouldn't go back.
We have been going to this Chili's for YEARS!! And have always thought it had the best service of all the Chili's we've been to. Until our most recent visit. We went on a Friday afternoon we were seated by the manager, then sat there for 10 minutes with 3 wait staff people walking past us several times and no acknowledgement of us sitting there without drinks or to take an order. Our son was going to meet us on his lunch break so we did not have all day to sit around and wait for someone to come to our table. I tried to let the manager know but she didn't really care, she said that the staff was busy. Well they were busy standing around talking and watching their phones. Just very disappointed because we've always loved going there and enjoy the food.
