Granted they didn't have what I originally wanted to order which was the chorizo hash but my secondary option was super delicious! Not sure if they are going to keep only accepting cash but if you go please make sure you have enough cash on hand just in case. Definitely going back there! ❤
We came with a large group on a busy Sunday morning and the staff was amazing at accommodating our group. The food was wonderful and the customer service was amazing. They went over and above to make sure we had what we needed and gave us a true family experience. Highly recommend Carmela's!
Excellent food and very friendly and excellent service. We had the banana French toast and the gyro omelette. Both were fantastic. The French toast was especially phenomenal; they use banana bread instead of regular bread, with slices of bananas on top. It's so good you don't even need syrup. The gyro omelette had tomatoes in it, making it less heavy. I liked that the tatziki sauce came on the side instead of on the omelette, smothering it. We'll definitely be back next time we drove through this town.
Charming little Resturant that makes you feel welcome and cared for. Don't let the small number of reviews fool you this place is busy the locals know this place is a gem!I had the chorizo with eggs and the flavor was terrific! It's definitely a dish for those who like a little heat! The hot and flavorful salsa is incredible and the handmade tortillas that come with it are terrific, making the best breakfast tacos I've ever had! Clean and cozy, they offer pie and muffins made in house! Carmela's Resturant is the perfect place to start your day, their staff are genuine and polite ensuring you have a delightful visit!
Great menu selections. We were pleased with all our choices except the corned beef hash. The gyro omelette was outstanding, as was the gyro skillet. Food was piping hot, except for the corned beef hash. We brought a large group and we're still seated fairly quickly. Service was friendly and fast. Comfortable atmosphere for a relaxed meal with family or friends. It helped to know there was parking in the back and a breezeway to get thru the building. We will be back.
