I had a rather elaborate corporate situation, and wanted a Silver Business checking account for my corporate petty cash needs. The US Bank main 800 number advised me that my situation was usual fare for them, and that their branch in Bloomington would take care of me in a jiffy. Therefore, I traveled an hour to this location--and before I get into details, I must commend the employees here for the top-notch service they rendered to me--and everything went smoothly until some loon of a manger decided to butt in. She didn't know the policies of her own bank and declined to service me any further. I instantly got on phone with the corporate 800 number again to relay my ordeal to them. They agreed 100% with me, concluded that I was on the right, and wondered if lack of knowledge on the branch manager's part played any role. They offered to send an official order to that branch and have me serviced properly to my satisfaction, but I declined knowing that it would spell trouble for "someone" in this economy. Long story short, a Chase agreed to do petty cash checking account for me, even though they don't usually do that. My expert advice to the management at this branch is to go to school and learn the difference between corporate banking and LLC banking needs. Once again, I'd like to go on record with saying that, apart from the management, this branch has one of the best bankers ever!
If they know you they will service you first. Wait 25 minutes and a FRIEND WALKS in and get service while we still sit and wait.
