Great selection! One of the better game stores around. Would be a five star but poor customer service drags it down. Have been treated pretty poorly by a number of employees. The exception is one employee who treats everyone extremely well and is the main reason I come back.
Jamie and his staff recently helped me to secure some sweet limited edition pre-order bonus items during a new game release.
The store itself is bright, clean & well organized, with a ton of current product on display, not to mention its old-timey architectural charm.
Bloomington is lucky to have this family-friendly store to bolster its downtown scene and I look forward to doing future business with them.
Amazing service and selection. Enough cool things to simply look at that it's a great stop for gamers and non-gamers alike. Great place for gifts! One of my favorite stores to stop at when I'm in Bloomington.
Now in June 2017, I've moved out of state and just went to 2 of my new local board game shops. Walked out saying "I miss Red Raccoon Games!" All of that to say, when I'm back visiting my hometown, I'll definitely be stopping in!
Discovered this local store in Fall 2016 when a friend told me about it. I loved it! Huge board game selection and the owner, Jamie, is very helpful! Whenever I've called, he's been helpful as have the the employees within the store. You can rent games for a % of the cost or play them at the store. If you decide to purchase them immediately after renting them, they allow you to use that % of the rent towards the game purchase. I love supporting local so every time I had a game to buy, I bought it here. The owner helped answer my questions about which board game might be the best to play if you have a friend out of state.
They are friendly, communicative, and displayed a "Customer comes first" attitude every step of the way.

I freely admit I'm a bit OCD about my collectibles and they afforded me the opportunity to get the exact versions I wanted for my collection without any hesitation (customer service that’s hard to come by online and even at other brick-and-mortar stores).
