I had a great experience in The Great Escape Store in Bloomington Illinois. The person helping me was knowledgeable, but not pushy. He left us alone when we wanted to think about things and was easy to locate when we had questions. It is a beautiful bright store! They recently moved to where the Cubs foods was near Veterans and Washington / Eastland on the East side of Veterans. It is full of great looking items. I did not know their merchandise is seasonal, so I got a great price on theater seating and a massage chair (I bought early March - end of season for these categories.) If I had the money I would have purchased a hot tub and lawn seating as well. Everything looks high class but seems reasonably priced. I highly recommend.
Had a warranty issue with a robotic pool vacuum, under 3 months old. No problem, took it in and got a new-in-box replacement. Best customer service I've encounter in years. Thanks, Eli!

We bought our pool from The Great Escape in 2013, and have bought all of our chemicals from them ever since. When we were dealing with a bad algae issue a couple of years ago, Jim was extremely helpful in walking us through the process of getting it under control. Twice this summer, I've had an issue with two separate products we purchased there (a small side table and a robotic vacuum), and both times I was issued an even exchange for a replacement, hassle-free. We will definitely continue to shop at and recommend The Great Escape to others.
