I had an attorney prior to John that was anything but supportive so it was very refreshing to find a lawyer that cares about his clients. If you need anything in the way of family law, I recommend giving him a call and scheduling a meeting. You will not regret it!
John is an excellent attorney. He's very knowledgable, professional and extremely down to earth. I've used him on a few different occasions and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Additionally, Chelsea is wonderful to work with. She keeps the office running smoothly. I would recommend John to anyone that needs a good attorney!
Lawyer John Wright saw me about my child custody case. I just needed my custody agreement that I had with my ex-husband changed because the kids were older and didn't want to go over to their dad's every weekend anymore. John Wright said that he would take my case for $1,000 . I said wow that is more than you charged me for my divorce. I said I can't afford that i am a single mother of 4 kids. He said okay can you pay $100 a month? I said yes i can do that. So my 1st court date Nov. 7th he said that he would not be able to be there but they won't do anything just order you to go to mediation. Well John Wright was wrong my ex-husband was granted everything that he wanted. And I was told that I could have my day in court on December 9th with my lawyer but apparently John Wright doesn't remember the promises that he makes because I finally got a call back from his office 4 days later after I've called for 4 days in a row and was told he will not take your case unless you can come up with $750 upfront. So much for his hundred dollars a month he offered me to pay since knowing I was in a bind. He must have been in so much pain from his broken foot. That he doesn't remember what he promised. Obviously not the same man I knew from when I had gotten my divorce with him 3 years ago!
I have hired John on several occasions. John has always done an excellent job on every case I've hired him for. I would recommend him to anyone I know who needs legal help.
So no I do not recommend John Wright for your lawyer he cannot remember things he's absentminded he shows up late for court. And sometimes does not show up to court at all.
Easiest 5/5 star decision I have made in a long time. Wright Law office is the most helpful, professional and dedicated law office I have ever come across. He has represented me for over a year now in my child custody hearings and I have known the whole time that I have someone on my side that I could count on. If you need or want an attorney to have your back at all times and always have your best interest at heart, then John Wright is your guy. His para-legal Chelsea is knowledgeable, wonderful to deal with and truly one of the more helpful people I've worked with.
I use Mr. Wrights services last year for child support. He asked for $1000. I paid him and he tried to milk the money I gave him. The only good thing he did was file the contempt order. This guy... he told me I didn't have to come to court and that I would never see any payments for my daughter. The states attorney located my daughter's father who resides in state of Illinois. He charges $1000 for a reason. I dropped him and got some of my money back. The state did the rest and the job got done. I would not recommend him to anyone!
