I went to Bath and Body Works located at Eastland Mall in Bloomington, IL today to return an item and had a bad experience. The original tender was a debit card and the employee that checked me out named Kari refused to give me back cash for my refund although I told her that was the return policy on the back of the receipt. It clearly states "Debit card purchases will be refunded in cash" I explained this to her and showed her where it said it on the back of my receipt but she refused to refund me the way the policy states. I wanted cash back because sometimes it takes many days to receive a debit card refund and I needed the cash sooner. She said they always refund the same way it was paid for and she was a key holder and wouldn't do it. Before that she tried to push me to pick another item in the store to exchange and I kept trying to tell her that my toddler was with me and was getting cranky and trying to touch everything so I'd rather come back another day alone... She didn't really want to refund me. I ended up leaving the store without returning my item because I was so unbelievably frustrated. :(
